Pale gold in colour with a fine mousse, the wine is aromatic on the nose. On the palate, it is well balanced and shows great finesse and complexity.
Pinot Noir gives the wine richness and a long finish while Chardonnay from the finest soils of the Cote de Blancs, adds delicacy, liveliness and freshness. Pinot Meunier, mainly from the Marne Valley, gives the wine an appealing fruitiness and roundness.
Delicious as an aperitif, Brut Majeur is also perfect to serve throughout the meal. It will pair perfectly with seafood, fish, white meats and with soft and moldy cheeses.

What the critics think
|
|
"... This has ripeness and strong red fruit aromas, gentle spice and some savoury, toasty autolysis characters. The palate has round shape but is stretched along deeper lines with zesty acidity and a gently savoury dry finish. A good all-round style." Rating; 92 points

"No mistaking the Gallic nose here with some yeast, a little aldehyde and nuttiness adding to the overall funk and circumstance of it, with a few prettier elements too. Fresh citrus blossom and a little brine give it a savoury, aperitif sense that suits a platter of oysters. Lots of life, bubbles and mouthwatering pleasure."

"Broad, expressive nose - lots of yeastiness on display, plus spice, floral and some toffee and caramel notes. The palate is clean and precise, showing elegant fruit characters and some burnt biscuit flavours too. Classic Champagne style, very conventional but decent complexity"
Rating: 17/20
