This is Kangarilla Road’s second regionally blended Zinfandel with grapes sourced from low yielding vineyards located on the Fleurieu Peninsula in the regions of McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek and Southern Fleurieu. Colour of blood Red. The bouquet shows opulent upfront fruit aromas of dark berries, brambles and raisins with savoury exotic spices. Rich palate with loads of ripe dried fruit characters on the mid palate with spicy/savoury integrated finish. Although the alcohol is high as with all Zins, this wine shows very little heat. The spicy flavoursome palate makes this wine a great match with heady spiced Moroccan and Middle Eastern foods.
