The first block of Chrismont’s vineyards was planted in 1980 by Arnie and his father, Arnold. The vineyards now span 250 acres.
With a similar climate and landscape to Piemonte and Tuscany in Italy and Alsace in France, long summer days enable the grapes to achieve genuine flavour ripeness which gives lovely fruit richness to the wines, while cool nights allow elegant cool climate characters to emerge.
Fruit for this wine is from the family owned vineyards in the pristine King Valley.
The colour is light straw with a hint of green hue. Honeysuckle, lemon and lime on the nose. Citrus and tropical fruit on the palate are carried by a great acid structure giving good flavour length; an attractive wine while young, upon careful cellaring will develop subtle toast & honey complexity.
