Arneis is a rare variety originating from Piedmont in Northwest Italy. After WWII Arneis almost became extinct as it is notoriously difficult to grow, hence it has earned the nickname "Little Rascal". Luckily a few viticulturists around the world have rediscovered this exceptional variety, and are now producing stunning wines from this little rascal.
The aromatics of green apple, lime, spices and white petalled flowers jump from the glass. The palate is fresh and crisp, with lingering flavours of green apples, nashi pears and tropical fruits. This wine has varietal textural tannins with balanced acidity.

What the critics think!
2009 – “Fresh pear and straw fairly leap out of the glass, with an attractive edge of nectarine; the palate shows plenty of weight, yet maintains freshness through lively acidity and a touch of grip to conclude; a good example of the variety and style. Rating; 92 points (Ben Edwards)
