2003 Shiraz
· 93 points – James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2005
“A fine shiraz whose deep perfume of violets, black berries, raspberries and blood plums is laced with peppery nuances of cinnamon and cloves, and supported by slightly smoky ands sweet vanilla and mocha oak. Supple and willowy, its tight integrated and silky-smooth palate of high-toned berry/plum flavours and tasty vanilla oak is punctuated by refreshing acidity.” Rating 93 points

2004 Shiraz
· 95 points – James Halliday , Australian Wine Companion 2007
· Fourth in Australian Gourmet Traveller WINE – Top 100 new releases
"Another pristine, fruit-driven, spicy shiraz from Cliff Royle, with the kind of powerful elegance that will see it age beautifully. Fresh cherry, plum aromas laced with spices and banana. Excellent ripeness, vitality and balance." Rating; 5 stars

2006 Shiraz
"Fine-grained and savoury, with a smoky fragrance of cassis, blackberries and raspberries with peppery, spicy undertones handsomely backed by spicy, perfumed French oak. Its smooth cultivated palate of piercingly fresh and alluring cherry/plum fruit knits tightly with smoky oak and polished, crunchy tannin. It finished long and vibrant, with lingering meatiness. Rating: 95 points / 4 stars
