Who can purchase wine from WineSnob?
Anyone 18 years of age and over may purchase wines from WineSnob for delivery in Australia. Customers from other countries, you must meet the legal age requirement for the purchase of alcohol for your particular country. On delivery you may be asked to provide proof of age.

How do I purchase wine from WineSnob?
Shopping with WineSnob is very simple, just browse for the wines that you want, select the quantities that you want and click the “add to shopping cart” button. You may edit wines and quantities from the shopping cart as you please before proceeding to our check-out and payment pages.

How much wine do I need to purchase?
There is no minimum amount of wine that you need to purchase in one single order. If you purchase six(6) or twelve(12) bottles of the same wine you will receive a discounted price. Click on the 'more detail button' of any wine to see what the discount prices are. Some of our wines are only available in 6 or 12 bottle cases; this will be clearly outlined in the product detail description if this is the case.
Do I need to be at home for delivery?
Yes, someone of legal age needs to be home to sign for delivery of your wine. Due to licensing laws we are unable to deliver or leave wines if no one is home. You may find it easier to have your wine delivered to your work or business hours address. If no one is home our courier will leave a card for you to contact them and arrange a suitable time for delivery. We are not able to deliver wine to post office boxes.

How much will delivery cost?
Delivery is calculated once you have completed your shopping. You may check the delivery cost at anytime while shopping, simply click the 'calculate delivery' button, you may still continue shopping from here and re-calculate delivery again at any time. We prefer to show delivery as a separate charge, as there really is no such thing as “free delivery” it has to either be built into the wine price or charged separately as we do. We feel this is the fairest method of charging for delivery.

Why are WineSnob wines so good?
Each and every wine we offer is selected because it represents exceptional quality, varietal characteristics and value. The wines we sell are hand selected from premium producers that have their brand and reputation at stake. A lot of our wines are not available in the ‘giant’ liquor retail outlets purely because these individual wineries and winemakers are dedicated and passionate about producing exceptional wines rather than massive quantities. We do not sell “clean skins” or “bin ends”. Take your time and read the individual winery information and tasting notes provided.

What can I do if I order a wine that I don’t like?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your wine purchases. Should you buy something that you just don’t enjoy, we are more than happy to arrange for any unopened bottles to be returned for a refund or exchange for another wine. Please note that the cost of freight will not be refunded. Wines for refund or exchange must be in premium condition, with no label damage etc. Wines must be returned within 60 days from order date.

Unfortunately at some point in our lives we will all encounter a bottle that is just not right. If this happens to you with one of our wines, simply put the cork back in and contact us. Please keep the wine and bottle, in some circumstance we may need to arrange for return of the wine in question at our expense. We will either refund the purchase price of the wine or arrange for a replacement bottle, which ever is more convenient for you.
