Wine Maker	Tim Knappstein
Third generation vigneron, Tim Knappstein has stood tall among Australia's best winemakers for the past 40 years, since graduating as Dux of the first Oenology course at Roseworthy College in 1966.
Tim's grand sum of more than 500 wine show awards, including 120 gold medals and 24 trophies and having won 5 of the 11 times he entered Pinot Noir at the Hyatt Wine Awards in Adelaide.
The start of his own brand Riposte signifies a new chapter in Tim's life with wine, combining his rich knowledge accumulated from a decorated 40 years of winemaking, and his boundless enthusiasm to keep making better, more delicious wines.
